Amy opened ABC Reading Adventure in North Scituate in 2013. She received a Master of Science degree in Education in Special Needs Pre-Kindergarten through Ninth Grade. She is a certified Special Education Teacher and has worked in the Concord, Lincoln and Norwell Public Schools as well as serving as a Reading Specialist at the Home for Little Wanderers in Boston.
After having her two boys Amy taught early literacy, reading and writing skills to young learners privately and in a local preschool program. She was certified at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Orton-Gillingham Method, is certified in Project Read and trained in Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.

In her more than 25 years of experience, she has served as Lead Teacher and Speech-Language Pathologist for language-based classrooms at South Shore Educational Collaborative where she has provided differentiated reading instruction via structured, multisensory reading strategies. Julia holds Massachusetts Educator's licenses in both Elementary Education and Moderate Disabilities. She taught at the South Shore Educational Collaborative in the language-based middle school program and now is a Special Education teacher at the elementary level for Whitman-Hanson Public Schools. Stephanie received her master's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2022. She is licensed to teach Pre-K through 2nd grade in MA. Allie received her bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology and her master’s degree in Education. She holds a dual license in Elementary Education and Special Education and is currently a fourth-grade teacher with Lynn Public Schools.
